February 1957, Fulaerji, established Harbin Metal Structure Factory Fulaerji branch.

July 1958, coming to Deyang and starting plant in Chengdu. renamed as follows: Ministry of Works and Buildings the first engineering company metal structure factory. Undertaking four construction tasks :Construction of a second heavy machinery plant in China, Dongfang Electrical Machinery Factory, Dongfang Steam Turbine Works, Dongfang Boiler Works steel plant. All works were completed in 1966. In the same year its name was changed into: Chengdu Construction Machinery metal structure factory, shifted to Chengdu.

The construction machinery industry Chapter Quality Association awarded the SCM 2004 annual "China construction machinery industry, the quality and efficiency of advanced enterprise" and "user satisfaction national construction machinery industry advanced enterprises" in June.

SCM first 120 m3 / h concrete mixing plant installation was completed in August.

2006

March 5, Sichuan Provincial People's Government issued "Notice the Seventh Sichuan Famous Brand", SCM tower crane was awarded the title of Sichuan famous brand .

The company received the title of 2005 top fifty industrial enterprises (bronze photos) in Chengdu.

The development of M1500 was successful, and it’s the largest tower crane in China or even in Asia. It passed the provincial appraisal on July 20.

July 26, 2006 "Chengdu Daily" and on August 8, "Sichuan Daily" with the title "the largest tower crane in Chengdu developed" reported domestic as well as Asia's largest QTZ1500-tower machine M1500.

August 5 more than 80 delegates from all over the water and power, energy, construction and other large construction companies attended the exhibition of M1500 large tower crane.

2007

April 27, during the corporate intellectual property work meeting held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, our company was designated as IPR pilot enterprises in Sichuan Province.

M1500 tower crane won the 2007 Sichuan Science and Technology Progress Award.

2008

SCM tower crane has been awarded as Sichuan Province famous brand by the Sichuan People's Government.

April 30, the new heavy-duty steel plant was completed. The picture shows the co-chairman and general manager cut the ribbon for the completed heavy plant. Heavy steel working shop putting into operation will further optimize (Group) Company's product mix. Equipped with better hardware for the large tower crane with added value. August 6, Sichuan Construction Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd held the first meeting of Forth Shareholder’ Meeting.

August, 18, SCM held the second representatives meeting of the communist party. The new party committee and discipline inspection commission were elected.

The D&R department of technical center has completed the development and trail of D320 luffing tower crane. It would enter market shortly.

December, tower crane installation and dismantling regulation DB51/T588-LOO6 was awarded as China Standard Innovation Contribution.

2011

June, SCD200/200 was awarded as Chengdu Technology Improving second grade.
