Sichuan Construction Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. has M1500, M1200 and two M900 tower cranes to participate in the construction of Miaowei Hydropower Station project.

Miaowei Hydropower Station is located in the Lancang River near Miaowei Lisu Autonomous Township Miaowei Village, Yunlong County, Dali Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is located in the longitudinal valley of the Lancang River in the transverse mountains. It is the lowest cascade hydropower station in the seven-reservoir development plan of the middle and lower reaches of the Lancang River (from ancient water to Miaowei reach). Upstream connects with Dahua Bridge Hydropower Station, and downstream connects Gong Guo Qiao hydropower station. Gravel earth core rockfill dam crest length 576.68 m, maximum dam height 139.8 m, dam site control basin area 93,900 square kilometers, annual average flow 960 cubic meters per second.

Because of the high efficiency and large coverage area, the horizontal arm tower crane can greatly improve the speed of hydropower station construction. Four tower cranes are mainly used for concrete pouring of dam body, steel formwork, dam oil tank hoisting, etc. The working forms are walking type.

The M1500 tower crane, with a maximum lifting weight of 63t, has reached the port crane's lifting weight. It is one of the few super-large horizontal jib tower cranes in China, with a lifting weight of 15t at the end, a maximum operating range of 80m, a standard section of 5.5m, a traveling chassis rail distance of 15m, and a maximum independent height of 100.87m. T, the end lifting weight is 11.5 t, the maximum working range is 80 m, the standard section is 4 m, the traveling chassis gauge is 8 m, the maximum independent height is 80.36 m; the M900 tower crane maximum lifting weight is 50 t, the end lifting weight is 10 t, the maximum working range is 70 m, the standard section is 4 m, the traveling chassis gauge is 8 m, the maximum independent height is 85.30 M.

Three types of cranes are designed and manufactured by the company's own large, super-large rotary, self-elevating tower crane. The four mechanisms of hoisting, rotating, amplitude changing and walking all adopt variable frequency stepless speed regulation system, which runs smoothly and can greatly improve the working efficiency of the tower crane. The structure of the mechanism is simple, the failure rate is low, and the maintenance is convenient.
