The construction of the tower crane in the construction of Guizhou Red River Bridge

At the junction of Luodian County, Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, southern Guizhou Province, and Tiane County, Hechi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the expressway cable-stayed bridge across the Hongshui River is a control project of the Huishui-Luodian section (Huiluo Expressway) of the Yinbai Expressway. The bridge started in December 2013, and the whole project is expected to be completed in October 2016, after completion. The distance between Guiyang and Longbang will be shortened to 400 km, which is the most convenient exit passage for Guizhou to ASEAN, and will play a positive role in promoting the local economic development.

Hongshuihe Bridge is 956 meters long. The approach bridge is designed as 2 x 20 meters prestressed concrete cast-in-place box girder. The main bridge is designed as a cable-stayed bridge with 213 meters of shore span, 508 meters of main span and 185 meters of Guangxi shore span. The structure design is novel. The width of the bridge deck is 27.7m, which is a two-way four lane expressway. The design speed is 80 kilometers per hour and the total investment is 546 million yuan, which is built by Guangxi Luqiao company. The main pylon of cable-stayed bridge is used to install cable hoisting system. The cable hoisting steel girder and composite prefabricated bridge deck are used as a cable system in the construction of the bridge, which make the bridge more reasonable in force and more convenient in construction. Compared with the traditional girder bridge and arch bridge, the cable hoisting system has greater spanning capacity.

The effect of the Red River Bridge is as follows

The height of piers on both sides of Hongshuihe Bridge is 210 meters. The crane of each pier is equipped with a C7036 tower crane, a C7030 tower crane and two SC200/200WPZ medium-speed frequency conversion ladders. The construction machinery of auxiliary piers is a P125 flat-headed tower crane. The C7036 tower crane undertakes the main construction hoisting operation, the maximum lifting weight is 16 tons, the working range is 70 meters, the maximum lifting weight of C7030 tower crane is 16 tons, the lifting height is 220 meters, the working range is 50 meters, the two tower cranes cross-over arrangement, the covering area is large, the section of C7036 tower body is 2.5 meters, the main chord is round steel, the section of C7030 tower body is 2 meters, the main chord is angle steel. The variable frequency stepless speed regulation system is adopted in the configuration of the mechanism, and the starting and braking are stable.

The two construction elevators used for carrying persons and lifting objects are equipped with 200 meters height, 3 *15 kW three-motor drive, rated lifting speed of 0-55 m/min.

The P125 flat-head tower crane with auxiliary pier has a maximum lifting capacity of 10 tons, a maximum operating range of 60 meters and a fixed attachment lifting height of 80 meters.

The coordinated application of tower crane and construction elevator in construction greatly improves the efficiency of installation and construction work, and effectively cooperates with the construction party to complete the construction of Hongshuihe Bridge on schedule.

Highways across the country have begun to enter the mountains, not only a variety of super-large bridges, but also the construction conditions are complex, Hongshuihe Bridge will be designed or construction technology for mountain bridge construction will open up new ideas. As one of the control projects of Yinchuan-Longbang Expressway network, the southern section of Chongxi-Luodian Expressway in Guizhou Province Expressway network, after the completion of Hongshuihe Bridge, the southwest region can cross Guangxi into ASEAN, which is an absolute strategic and economic channel.
